PEAU D’ORANGE

Too-short seatbelts, boots that won’t close, endless demands, disapproving looks, absurd diets, a flood of emotions. A brain in constant questioning, at the center of which the scale plays a pivotal role.
Peau d’Orange is a corrosive dive into the everyday life of people who don’t fit the norm, a stage moment in which the artist, sometimes with humor, sometimes with tenderness, dismantles prejudices. An ode to the acceptance of all bodies.
Peau d’Orange is a one-person show that is at once intimate and universal. Through candid, unflinching writing, the performance explores the complex relationship to the body, self-image, and the gaze of others. With sensitivity, humor, and strength, it brings to life the concrete realities of people considered a little too large in a society that is a little too narrow. The show offers a space for expression and emotion, inviting reflection on norms, judgment, and self-acceptance.
