LA MAISON VIDE
Southern hub of creation in French-speaking Belgium
Spring 2026
Heated bodies, standing bodies
This season, we make a gesture both simple and bold:
welcoming the imperfection of reality, kneading it, at times even roughing it up,
and letting a spark emerge from it.

A place dedicated
to creation
The main mission of the Théâtre des Doms is to contribute to the visibility and reach of artists, creations, and artistic projects from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles by promoting and presenting their works and supporting the artists.
It is open to all artistic disciplines, with a primary focus on the performing arts, while also supporting certain forms of the visual arts, such as drawing and theatre production photography. The Théâtre des Doms pursues its work with continuity and a long-term vision, offering a season structured in two parts — spring and autumn. It is committed to developing collaborative projects with local, national, European, and Francophone partners.

Residencies and
the Avignon Festival
In the heart of Avignon, the Théâtre des Doms showcases the French-speaking Belgian performing arts scene. Each summer, it plays an active role in the Festival OFF d’Avignon with a contemporary, demanding, and socially engaged programme — a true bridge between Belgium and France. Throughout the year, it supports artistic creation by hosting artists in residence, offering them a space for work, exchange, and experimentation. More than a presenting venue, the Doms serve as a driving force for encounters and sustainable artistic projects.
